Job
- As transplant coordinator, you are responsible for organising the organ donation and transplantation procedures of our transplant centre
- You are responsible for the guidance and education of patients who are candidates for transplantation or who have been transplanted
- You deal with the administrative and legal formalities related to transplantation and donation and liaise with Eurotransplant
- You are jointly responsible for the transplant consultation
- You actively participate in scientific research
- Together with the treating physician, you assist relatives of deceased organ donors and play an active role in sensitisation and education concerning organ donation
- Together with your colleagues, you also represent our centre in the various national scientific associations and advisory bodies
Profile
- You have a bachelor degree in nursing
- You are an enthusiastic, multilingual, dynamic and flexible nurse
- You are willing to ensure standby duty and together with your colleagues you ensure continuity so that 1 transplant coordinator is always available and accessible
- You are stress resistant and accurate
- You have a sense of responsibility and perseverance
Offer
- You will have a half-time (50%) contract of indefinite duration. The contract can be combined with employment elsewhere within the hospital.
- Salary via IFIC according to experience, with assumption of relevant seniority
